Matthew is now based back in the U.K. after several years working with Visa International as their Chief Commercial Officer. In this role Matthew was responsible for developing and introducing many new payment products and services, particularly in emerging economies. He has been a management consultant for over twenty years with a focus on the Financial sector and new business growth.. Before working for IMPACT Partners he was a Senior Vice President and Head of Practice at Mercer Management Consulting. Prior to Mercer he occupied senior positions with Booz Allen & Hamilton and Andersen Consulting. Matthew specialises in business strategy, market entry strategy and growth strategy. He has extensive international business experience gained through working in the UK, Scandinavia, Continental Europe, US and Eastern Europe. His has a hands-on style and works alongside the senior management of a company to develop the strategy but then to assist with the successful implementation of the strategy. He has led a number of merger and acquisition initiatives, as well as many business and operational reorganisations and transformations.

Matthew holds a M.Sc. Degree in Electronics (with Highest Honours) from The Gdansk Institute of Technology, Poland. He has also completed a postgraduate course in Computer Science at the University of Stockholm, Sweden.

Matthew is based in the U.K. and besides English, Matthew speaks fluent Swedish, Polish, French and Russian and also has a good command of German.
