John Melo

 

Before working for IMPACT Partners, John has performed roles that have included, for a large international IT Service organisation, setting up a new company in the Business Process Outsourcing market, and has led Operations, Customer Services, Human Resources, Information Technology and Change & Transformation functions. He led the redesign of a large Financial Services company is HR function to deliver a new service model, based upon an In-sourced Shared Service operation with manager and employee self-service. This resulted in a 40% cost reduction and shaping the function into a top quartile performing team in its sector. John has recently directed the design of Shared Services facilities for Central Government Departments from concept - building the Programme Team, developing a Target Operating Model, mapping out of common operational processes, designing the organisational structures of the Shared Services Centre and the remainder of the HR function, and procuring the IT solution.

John has also been responsible for the delivery of business transformation programme in other Financial Services organisations including, for a leading Building Society, the restructuring of all the Back-office operations which reduced costs significantly whilst coping with record business volumes
